About Us
Global Equipment Services, Inc. is very unique to the independent world of the heavy equipment industry. We are privately owned and based in Washington State (very close to Tacoma & Seattle) which is located in the northwest corner of the United States on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. We are very close to several major sea ports in Washington State and approximately 140 miles from Vancouver British Columbia, Canada and 150 miles from Portland, Oregon. We also have joint venture facilities in Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona. Our company’s primary focus is to purchase, market and sell quality used construction and mining equipment worldwide with the overseas export markets as a major focus. We also sell attachments, new & rebuilt components and limited amounts of used parts & OTR tires. GES, Inc. provides many quality services to support our industry which include equipment and machinery containerization & packing, in depth cleaning and detail to AQIS (Australia Quarantine Inspection Services standards) for the Australian markets and in depth cleaning for other countries as well. GES, Inc. also provides heavy equipment repairs & refurbish, complete machine and component rebuilds, welding, fabrication & machine work. Our company works closely with several high quality freight forwarders and shipping companies to provide logistics support which includes inland and ocean transport for worldwide delivery of heavy equipment.
In 2001, Global Equipment Services, Inc. was formed with one sole purpose: To provide top quality used construction and mining equipment to the world markets at a fair and honest price. We do this by using our technical knowledge of heavy equipment and our honesty and integrity as our primary sales tools! We truly believe in building long term quality win-win relationships with our customers, vendors and other dealers both OEM and independent which equals clean, easy no nonsense straight forward business. “Honesty and integrity is the foundation of our business” is our company motto and something we truly live by each and every day.
Since 2001, we have grown from a one man business providing inspection and appraisal services to a full service independent equipment dealer. We offer many different equipment related services and employ several highly experienced people at 3 different locations in the western US. We pride ourselves on our strong Caterpillar dealer trained background which allows us to accurately represent our used equipment which is the backbone of our talents. We do not use high pressure sales methods or gimmicks, we are no frills, no nonsense, straight forward independent used equipment dealer that is very easy to deal with as this is the only way we will conduct business! We are not brokers and we own or have under control the equipment we offer and sell. We only employ highly ethical, highly trained people which includes top quality Caterpillar dealer experienced mechanics and other personal most of which have many years of experience in the industry.
Caterpillar heavy equipment is our specialty but we also buy and sell other brands of equipment which include Komatsu, Hitachi, Deere, Volvo and Samsung among many other quality brands. We only sell what we know which is heavy equipment and the items related to the support of such. We do not purchase or sell on highway vehicles or trailers, crushers, conveyors or other miscellaneous construction or aggregate related items.
Our main office, shop and yard are in Maple Valley, Washington and we have just started a new storage yard and future shop facility in South Prairie, Washington as well. Our Washington locations are located close to the Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, Port of Everett and Port of Grays Harbor. Global Equipment Services buys, sells, rents, services, imports, exports, containerizes, packs, AQIS cleans and provides logistic services for equipment worldwide.
